Larry is a former Executive Vice President for the Texas Association of Business Brokers, and is an active speaker on mergers and acquisitions.

His “Big 8” public accounting experience, coupled with experience in completing transactions in the manufacturing, distribution, printing, service, and numerous other industry sectors over his career provide him with insight into the merger & acquisition process. He is an active speaker and writer on business transaction and valuation topics, and received the industry’s highest designation, Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary, held by less than 80 professionals, in 2005. Phillip is also a Certified Business Intermediary, and holder of a Texas Real Estate Salesperson’s License.

As an entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience, John relates well to owners/shareholders and is motivated by helping others achieve their success through business divestitures, mergers and acquisitions. John was a founder in a startup company that grew to 50 million dollars in revenue in a five year period and he managed five of the business locations in the southwest. After the business sold to a Fortune 500 company, John provided sales and marketing consulting. John then bought a business from Corporate Investment and later merged the company with a larger entity that served clients in over forty states and several foreign countries. His experience in business operations, marketing, sales and business divestiture, merger and acquisition earned him knowledge useful for business owners considering selling their companies.

Combining an entrepreneurial background with a strong track record in negotiation, mediation and deal-making, Robert offers a keen insight in assisting clients with the preparation and sale of their businesses at the best price and terms possible. His prior experience from building and growing two transportation companies provides him insight into helping clients with their unique needs related to the transfer of their business. Deep experience in multiparty negotiations has honed his ability to successfully bring buyers and sellers together and attain mutually beneficial outcomes. He is a Certified Business Intermediary and a Board Certified Broker.
Robert holds an MBA from Auburn University, a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He also served as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Air Force, operating from 2002 through 2005 in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As a financier and entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience, Bob has personally participated in the financing and selling processes of small and lower middle market businesses from all sides, as buyer, seller, senior and mezzanine debt lender, and seed and venture equity provider. In addition, Bob has served on numerous private and public company boards of directors. Bob served in executive management positions at many early-stage and growth phase companies. Among these was his service as COO and CFO of one of Austin’s most significant data and software success stories, which culminated in a majority sale to a NYC based private equity firm for market leading valuation in 2012. Bob’s 16 years of experience as a debt and equity financier followed by 23 years of business operating experience positions him well to help business owners achieve optimized selling results.
A native of Austin, Bob has been married for 34 years, has 3 grown children pursuing their careers in Austin, holds a BBA in General Business (Accounting concentration) from The University of Texas, and has a passion for mentoring young college graduates in launching their careers.
As a highly experienced CFO and executive manager in the service and retail industries, including multiple real estate development / management / acquisition firms, and one of Austin’s high profile family office entities, Laine Holman has worked on and led dozens of business and asset purchase and sale transactions, both large and small. In these prior roles, Laine learned the importance of and developed material expertise in preparing a business for sale at an optimized price, including addressing tax and estate structuring, with a view of producing superior after tax returns for their owners and investors.
A native of Central Texas, Laine has been married for 35 years, enjoys his two grown children pursuing their careers in the local area, is a cum laude graduate in Accounting from The University of Texas in 1981, started his career with a Big 8 accounting firm in the audit division, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
